Life

Life is what we make of it. It exists with us, in us, around us, and maybe everywhere. But what is life in the end? Is life actually real? Or are we the ones that make it real?

So many questions that to be fair, do not all require an answer. I believe we should make life and let life be whatever we want it to be. And if there is a higher purpose in the end, that it is the life we should allow to happen in order to uncover what comes in the end. And maybe there is no end, only a new beginning.

And if there is a new beginning, then it should start will all of us, from the inside up until the very end and beginning of time. Treasure everything you are and everything that is around you, for that is life, a gift for all of us to keep and follow. And just like life, we should stand tall against the sands of time.

Remember the family, remember the friends, remember the first kiss, the first love, the joy, the happiness, the fulfilment, everything you ever felt, remember. Cause what you are remembering is life, and through those memories we allow more life to happen.

Life never stops to happen, and we should be blessed to be part of it. And when the time comes, our turn will come to offer life. Till then we should stand together, united for the greater good of the humankind and life. Cease wars, for wars, are breading wars, and that is a vicious cycle. Lets instead help the ones to whom life was not as kind as it was to us. Let us all raise together and help one another, for that is what the meaning of life should be.

Spread love and help wherever there is a need for help. Cause you and me and all the other, we are living, we are alive. And together we create what we call life.

Enlightenment

Never set yourself to be what you are now. I believe the magic of life comes with the changes that happen within us. We should race time in the means of rediscovering and reinventing ourselves. And we should never settle for what we are, and we should challenge ourselves to always become the better version of what we are and used to be.

Now, how is one doing that you may ask? Well, my answer is really simple and true. We should always be on the move, both body and mind, and we should always challenge any concept of new that passes our path and we should learn from it. We need to go out and explore, both inside minds and books, in what our eyes see and choose to see. Cause wherever we go and whatever we do, there is a higher purpose, and that is enlightenment.

We should work hard for who we are and we should be happy. But we should never stop evolving, for as long as life will go, we shall learn from it. And that is the biggest gift life has offered us alongside life itself.

So from now on at least, put aside any fear and have the faith and courage to not idle anymore. Cause even when you idle, you and time started the race at the same time, and even though none has ever defeated time, nobody said it is not worth the walk. So go and experience and learn and live and love and share and create, do everything to make your life remembered by the undefeated…time.

Karma

It has been a while since I first heard about this concept, Karma. And since I first heard about it I never stopped and truly wonder how is this ‘Karma’ carrying so much power. This idea that whatever we will do will at some point come back to us. That we are the creators of our heaven and hell. A mere word at the beginning and slowly something that I soon started to believe in.

Usually, I decide on setting my own beliefs, but somehow this karma has reached my soul. I do not know if it is cause I started to see how bad actions breed only more bad actions and good actions, in turn, breed more good actions. But somehow, all this force started to feel so real to me, and it seems that there was no better word to define it then karma. A myth or simply a story, for me karma was a factor that allowed me to understand that whatever may happen it is always better to do good.

And karma works in mysterious ways I am being told, and there I stop and wondered if it is not karma that allowed me to reach this present moment. And if it is, then it was me that allowed myself to reach this far into my story, cause karma only offers what we first choose to offer.

And so I say that I believe in karma, for I believe and have faith in who I am.

My List

I think everyone should have a list. A list of things that we should always remember whenever we feel down. A list that would allow us to return to who we are, and take a breath from all that is out there. I worked my list for quite some time, and I am sure that more changes will appear together with the flow of life.

Till then, here is my list that will always let me remember who I set out to be:

1. Smile ‘for when I smile, I stop everything that would be bad around me, and with that smile, I set out to make a difference and bring joy out in the world’

2. Listen ‘ for when I listen, I choose to hear and learn, and thus allow the world to reach me’

3. Learn ‘ for when I learn, I allow myself to evolve and become the better version of who I was’

4. Be Humble ‘ for when I am humble, I allow myself to see clearly what there is around me’

5. Be kind ‘ for when I am kind, I choose to breed and share peace and love around me’

6. Always help the others ’cause when I help others achieve their dream I end up achieving mine’

7. Go out and experience the new ‘ cause in everything that is new there is a chance that I will become stronger and wiser’

8. Never forget my roots ’cause when I will allow myself to forget who I was until this present moment so I will acknowledge that I did not learn one thing’

9. Take a break ‘ and with that break, I choose to meditate on what was past and what is present, and what needs to happen in the future’

The Masquerade

It was time and life that thought me that the best version of me is me. We know how we all look for acceptance, how we look to integrate into groups, how we chase for others approval of who we are. And in this chase for the approval, we start to play this game of masquerade. We are presented with so many masks, answers to our prayers for acceptance, and when we start to wear them one by one, we lose ourselves in the big crowd.

We reached the point where we desire so much to be accepted by all that is outside but never do we stop and ask ourselves if we would accept us for what we have become. It is the thrill of the hunt for who we try to be in order to please the other and in this thrill it is where we lose who we really are.bravequotestoinspireyoutobeyourself.jpg

Never again, shall I deny myself who I really am, for who I am should be the most important aspect of our life. Cause life is built around who we are, and what will happen when we spent all that time, raising a life in which we are not able to live…cause it was never designed for us since the beginning. Do not chase for others approval when you are not approving with yourself, do not look at you through the eyes of others, when you can hang a mirror in front of you and see who you really are. Forever treasure who you are and want to be, and don’t wait for others to acknowledge your worth. Cause we are all special in our own way, and we should all follow our own path and dreams.

New Addictions

What really happened when I first opened the internet, when I created my facebook account when I uploaded my first photo? If someone would have told me how addicted I would have reached to be over the internet and social media would it be different now?

I remember very well how amazing this new technology was and how enthusiastic I was about uncovering its secrets. Like my friends and many others, I decided I want to have a facebook profile, I want a phone to be able to speak with friends, I want an Instagram account to upload photos, all this so I could satisfy my needs to keep up with the world.

It was when I realized that I will never manage to keep up, not cause I could not, but cause there was something from within myself, that was not happy about what was happening. Spending all that time online showing a life that I don’t even remember living. It was all a competition between me and all the others…a show-off of what we want others to think is our life. And is it worth it?

I decided to use this technology in a good way for a change and document myself about what was happening and why am I so unhappy with what I was going on at that time. Through my research, I discovered Simon Sinek, a man of which words became my inspiration. Talking about the reality of life, and how some are wasting life away. In one video with Simon, I managed to find the answer to why I was feeling so unhappy with what was happening with me and what seemed to be my addiction to the tech.

Since then, I agreed with myself to find new addictions, that will make up for the lost time, and I promised myself to never let myself lost again in the chase of online life. I learned that it is not that bad as I imagined, quitting tech from time to time, and in that time I manage to discover who I really was. It was in those moments that I actually lived life.

And so I read, I go out with friends, I play, I think, I look, I walk, I talk, I do everything I want and nothing feels better, then doing anything I want and not posting it online. Technology makes our life so easy, but we should remember to not let it blind us from seeing life.

Sometimes, is good to go offline.

I’ll nap this over.

Sometimes we all feel encumbered by everything that is happening around us. Whether it is, I say it is always important to take a break. For a change, when you feel that everything is crashing down on you and there are already too many things happening at the same time. Take a step back, take a deep breath, and take a break.

Whatever may be happening, sometimes we need that pause from life… and do not be afraid to take that pause when you fell the need for it. Whatever is happening, it will be there after you took the time to relax and think things over, so do not worry. Sometimes life gets really hard and I believe that is when it is telling us to take it a bit easier.

Now, what do I mean by a timeout? Well, to be fair it can be anything that will help you relax and allow you to regain focus on the matters at hand. For me, what I discovered works better is either taking a nap or going outdoors and have a walk on my own. download.jpg

I read an article about how important can these breaks actually be for us, and from that article, I turned my breaks into something that I do regularly. Cause taking a break is as important as tackling what we set out to do. So maybe for a first time leave the fear and anxiety of turning your head around from work aside, and take a deep breath and relax. And it will be then, you will actually allow yourself to think clearly and see how you need to deal with everything that you are facing.

We all deserve a timeout sometimes.

Read and share Knowledge

I am so so happy I understood sooner than never, how important it is to read and learn and most importantly listen. Not until recently I was stuck in an unhealthy cycle of acting like I know everything and not listen to what I was being told. So funny to look back now to the time when I “mastered” every topic and my word had always to be out there. Talking topics that I did not even have any knowledge of, and yet still would lose myself in arguments. Guess I know why I was doing that now. It was easier to create and to assume, easier than challenging any information that would appear. And what amuses me is not only how I used to act, but how the others used to do the same, and how others listen to what you have to say. And in the end, there was something worse that was happening then denying myself the true knowledge.

I was denying others the truth as well. Since then I learned that words are powerful and should not be thrown around mindlessly, cause words said in the right way will always be received by others, whether truths or lies. That was the lesson I learned that day and that day I said I will not use my words in order to offer illusions. Since then I started to read, read out anything that would sparkle my interest, read about what others talked, read about everything. Since then I stopped myself from trying to show who I was not and accepted that everyone has to learn.

What happened afterwards is even more amazing, I finally learned to listen. And with every silence that I offered, I learned more about me and others. Cause only when you actually listen you choose to learn. And when you listen you actually choose to understand.

Since then I choose to read, I choose to listen, and I was blind no more.

And when we lose? What do we do?

It is always inevitable, as life dictates, we will never succeed in everything we will set out to accomplish. And then, what will happen then? What happens if we yeared too far for what we wanted to accomplish and then lose it all?

Just like any other trial, life is giving us a lesson. And from that lesson, we should be reborn, for we had faced one of the hardest moments at that time, we lost… and still, we were allowed to win so much. For with every victory we face in life we triumph, and so should we with every loss, cause at that moment, the loss brings knowledge, both of the world and us. We should never face the ground, whatever happens, but we should look around and at the sky, for around is what we have accomplished and where we are right now, and the sky is where we should be headed, cause there should never be a stopping in our life. With every loss, with every mistake, we are in fact coming closer to our rightful place.

As part of the well famous show known as TED TALKS, I remember seeing a video where a guy by the name of Tim Gibson spoke about failure and dare I say he is so right. In failure there is knowledge, and in knowledge there is success.

And there I sat thinking about every moment I felt defeated, and with no way of going on…and yet still, there I was, more powerful than ever, cause I just learned more of who I am and what needs to be done, and that in my books became a triumph. Today, I proudly remember all the times it did not work out and look at where I am right now. And now is what matters and maybe I would not be here now, should I did not learn to fail at the time.

Cause we alone are the architects of our world, and whatever life will throw at us, we should stay strong. And on the next mistake or failure, lift yourself from the ground, and carry that end of chapter proud, for many chapters will keep opening up, and so, you use what you have learned from the previous stage to guide yourself and others.

I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” – Thomas A. Edison

To Do: Bed and then the World

By now I have learned that life is not giving a free pass to anyone and that in order to fully comprehend what is our role in life we need to be challenged. And that I think is exactly what is happening to us. Every day we wake up, we have tasks, tasks which we need to complete in order to move on with that day, tasks that are assigned to us, you name them, work, school, university, family, friends, of which we are expected to complete. These tasks are what form the trials of life I would say, and without these trials, we might act or actually be lost. It always falls into our hands to discover our meaning, and I would say that these daily tasks are what is setting us on the right track.

I doubt that a day spent on thinking about all the work that needs to be done will actually get us somewhere…funny how I say this now, for I was in that exact same place a while ago. I remember how by chance I found a youtube channel in which I saw this man, Brian Tracy, who as described, seemed to be a well known public speaker and book writer. Listening to his words in a few videos, I was impressed by his art of language and the ways through which he was explaining his perspective on life and success. I remember watching a video with Brian in which one of his rules for success was to act out on tasks and complete them.

That for me had sense, cause in the end, where would I be if I would not act out on tasks? still in bed? dreaming life as it should be? And so I did, every day I tried to complete all the set tasks, to deal with any problem that would arise… and there I hit another wall. I was incapable of finishing everything that I would set to do, some of the tasks were not even in my power to deal with at that moment. So how exactly am I supposed to understand…when I cannot even do what I set out to accomplish? After a while I finally managed to see what I was doing wrong, I was trying to run, when I  just started to learn how to walk. I was working towards something without first looking at the situation.

That day I learned what patience really is. Worrying that I am not getting anywhere, instead of regressing to what used to be, I decided to take a step back and analyse what was happening. I was accomplishing so much and yet so little, that’s when I learned that it is not the number of tasks that would set me out for life, but it would be their quality.

I plan I enjoy following and it is also worth remembering.

I started to take everything step by step, and not to worry about tasks and problems that wore out of my grasp. Cause in the end, why should we worry about something that cannot be done or changed at that moment in time? Maybe is the time that will actually bring you closer to finally dealing with that task, and until then why should we let it grind us apart from happiness?

But most of all, do not forget about our own tasks. Tasks that help us be who we are and should be. So I say, let us take it step by step and see what we need to to do.
